Theatre (Rangmanch)
Performing on stage has helped students overcome stage fear and improve their public speaking skills, which has significantly enhanced their self-confidence.
Qualities such as teamwork, leadership, and time management have been developed among the students.
By enacting different roles, students have developed empathy and a deeper understanding of human emotions, leading to emotional growth.
The communication skills of the students have improved considerably.
Theatre acts as a mirror of society; through theatrical activities, students have gained a better understanding of social issues and have reflected upon possible solutions.
Herbal Garden
Students have enhanced their knowledge of Botany by practically learning to identify medicinal plants, along with their scientific names and classification.
Awareness regarding Ayurveda and traditional systems of medicine has increased among the students.
Students have learned techniques such as soil preparation, grafting, compost making, and plant maintenance.
The Herbal Garden has contributed to reducing the college’s carbon footprint and has helped in achieving a better ranking in the Green Audit.
Community and health benefits: College staff and students have gained knowledge about home-based herbal remedies for common ailments such as cold, cough, and skin diseases.
