Objectives

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a crucial component of institutions accredited by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in India. Its main goal is to ensure continuous improvement in the overall performance of the institution. Here are the key objectives of IQAC:

  1. To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions.
  2. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
  3. To ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance.
  4. To foster a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development.
  5. To document and monitor various programs and activities that lead to quality improvement.
  6. To coordinate quality-related activities and to disseminate information on best practices.
  7. To act as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of good practices.
  8. To prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per NAAC guidelines and submit it periodically.
